American College of Emergency Physicians

ACEP, a national medical specialty society representing emergency medicine, is committed to improving the quality of emergency care through continuing education, research and public education.

Membership: Active members shall be physicians who devote a portion of their medical endeavors to emergency medicine. They must be licensed in the state, province, terroritory or foreign country in which they practice, or currently serving in a governmental medical assignment, and must be eligible for a license to prescribe narcotics and dangerous drugs. Membership is also available to medical students.
