Hello, EMS Magazine!

September 2006

So what do you think of our new logo? For a long time in this profession we have been referred to as EMS Magazine and now we are "EMS Magazine."

In previewing this change to readers and advertisers alike, it was positively received and helps tie us in more closely with our sister publication (now named EMS Product News) and EMS EXPO-the first and largest EMS trade show in the country.

Hopefully, you too will appreciate the fresh look. But don't worry, the content is still the industry-leading editorial you have come to expect.

To help us spread the word about the new logo, please feel free to send me a picture of you and/or your team with our two publications and your favorite piece of equipment-just like E.J. White of Orange County (FL) Fire Station No. 66 did-and be creative!

To make sure the image is usable, set your camera on the highest resolution and e-mail pictures to me at scott.cravens@cygnusb2b.com, or put it on a disk and mail it to Scott Cravens, EMS Magazine, 1233 Janesville Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.

By the way, I hope to see you at EMS EXPO in Las Vegas, September 25-29! More people than ever have signed up so far this year. It promises to be the biggest show in its history! To register today, visit www.emsexpo2006.com.

Finally, I would like to thank Chief Rich Wales for taking the time to meet with me during my recent visit to Orlando. The Orlando Fire Department includes the ninth busiest station in the country-Station No. 2, "The Pride of Parramore"-and the calls continue to increase!
