Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Patient Education: Lindsay's Big Heart

Srihari Naidu, MD, talks with Bailey Estes, MSN, about his new book for children, Lindsay's Big Heart, focusing on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), and how he partnered with HCM patient and Miss Ohio winner Lindsay Davis to write the book. Education comes in all forms, Dr. Naidu comments, and children as well as adults can learn from the simple and practical information laid out in the book. 

Dr. Naidu is the Director of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and the Cardiac Cath Labs at Westchester Medical Center in New York, and is the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) President-Elect. Dr. Naidu is well known for his expertise in HCM, alcohol septal ablation, and cardiogenic shock.
