SCAI 2021: Comparison of the ISCHEMIA Trial Population to Patients Undergoing PCI in U.S. Practice: A CathPCI NCDR Research to Practice (R2P) Initiative

Saurav Chatterjee, MD, describes a cross-sectional analysis of National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) CathPCI Registry patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for stable ischemic heart disease in routine clinical practice. This analysis sought to evaluate the proportion of stable ischemic heart disease patients falling within the ISCHEMIA trial enrollment criteria. NCDR data were reviewed from the period of October 2017 to June 2019, an interval similarly representative and inclusive of the ISCHEMIA enrollment time period.
