SICP: You can make a difference!

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! The Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals (SICP) invites you to provide us with suggestions on how we can best serve your needs. For over 10 years, the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals has been a leader in your professional practice, committed to providing educational opportunities, defining a core curriculum for cardiovascular professionals, and being your voice in pertinent legislative issues which affect how you care for your patients and how you practice. The SICP is a not-for-profit organization that was established to support the highest quality of patient care given by all invasive cardiac cath lab professionals. The SICP is actively involved in inter-societal relationships, including the American College of Cardiology, the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, the American Society of Radiological Technologists, the American Board of Nursing, and others. The SICP is one of the 16 professional societies of the Alliance for Quality Medical Imaging and Radiation, working on the proposed Federal Consumer Assurance of Radiologic Excellence (CARE) bill. The Alliance represents more than 250,000 professionals working in medical imaging and radiation oncology nationwide. WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! We partnered with HMP Communications and Cath Lab Digest to be the official publication of the SICP. We offer spotlight articles on CVT schools and member interviews, and will be providing more in-depth legislative coverage over the coming year. We are constantly looking for suggestions or contributions of articles and topics. Please take the time to provide us with what YOU need, or wish to know more about to help you meet your professional goals and objectives. The SICP is making plans for both regional meetings and our national conference for 2005.
