Angie Bowles, RN, CCRN, Emerald Coast Chapter President, 2007 On Thursday, March 22nd, the Illinois Chapter of SICP held their spring meeting at Jimmy’s Char house in Elgin, IL. The meeting was sponsored by Schering-Plough. Our local representative, Ed Svejda, invited Dr. Michael H. Salinger who presented an educational session on the use of integrilin in coronary care. The annual election of officers was also held the same evening. On March 20th, the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter held its second meeting at Montgomery Inn, sponsored by The Medicines Company. We had over 30 attendees present and went over responsibilities of our committees as well as updated everyone on our upcoming RCIS Review Course in April. Dr. D.P. Our membership drive was a great success, with twenty people joining SICP for the year 2007-2008. We have asked for nominations for the positions of secretary and treasurer/membership board positions, with elections held at the April meeting.
