Tel: (847) 429-0339 Milka Gemaljevic The Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter Greetings from Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky Chapter! Our first official meeting was on January 20th, 2007, at Maggianos in Kenwood. We had a good turnout, with 35 members present. We discussed the SICP and what we want to accomplish in our local chapter. We had nominations for secretary/treasurer, as well as committees. We only had one nomination for each secretary and treasurer, so an official election will not be needed. Our treasurer has since opened our bank account. (513) 702-6410 The Central Texas Chapter The Central Texas Chapter is hosting a RCIS review course on April 14-15, 2007 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. The chapter held its final meeting of the 2006-2007 year with a great event sponsored by Medtronic Inc. at a local restaurant. Our speaker was Dr. David Kessler, who presented on EKG interpretation in EP/cath labs. Our membership drive was a success, with twenty people joining the SICP for our 2007-2008 year. We have received nominations for the positions of secretary and treasurer/ membership board positions as of March 15th and will have our elections at the April meeting. Corrie Umscheid has begun her position as president of our chapter for the 2007-2008 year and is busy planning our upcoming calendar. Christine Gillett 2006-2007 President
