Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals: Illinois Chapter News The Illinois Chapter of the Society of the Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals held a meeting October 15, 2009 at Shaw’s Crab House, Schaumburg, IL. The topic of discussion was “Management of the Patient with UA/NSTEMI with Case Study,” presented by Parag Patel, DO, FACC, CICU Director and interventional cardiologist from Advocate Health Care, Wilmette, IL. SICP members were honored to have Dr. Patel present at the meeting, a great success with over 60 people attending from several hospitals. We would like to thank Arpita Patel, representative of Sanofi Aventis, for sponsoring the meeting. Representatives were very cordial and helpful to our guests and members.
