Indiana Chapter: Martine Kinman is working diligently to organize a chapter in Indiana. SICP membership information and applications were mailed to several Indiana Facilities. Martine will be making the rounds visiting area cath lab facilities to help get the word out about SICP and the Indiana Chapter. If you are a member in Indiana and are interested in assisting with Martine's membership and chapter campaign please contact Martine Kinman (mkinman@clarian.org) via email or at (317) 962-9782.
Calling all SICP members in Pennsylvania and New York
Are you interested in forming a chapter in your area? Some initial plans are underway. If you live in PA or NY and would like to help get these chapters off the ground please contact Nicole Shore, membership@sicp.com.
Call for SICP Committee Involvement
The following outlines several committees that SICP will be organizing in the coming months. If you are interested in participating in one of the committees below, please contact Nicole Shore, (membership@sicp.com) at SICP headquarters.
Advocacy Committee: Working with local chapters and members to advocate for professional standards and advancements in cardiac catheterization laboratories, including working on RCIS credential recognition issues. If interested in participating on this committee please contact membership@sicp.com.
Education Committee: This committee will coordinate with three sub committees to plan online educational opportunities, publish SICP standards and scope of practices, coordinating educational programs to be presented at SICP events including review course curriculum. If interested in participating on this committee, please contact membership@sicp.com.
Education Sub-Committees are as follows:
Educational events and opportunities sub-committee: Tasked with preparing and administering presentations on behalf of SICP, including review course.
Standards sub-committee: Tasked with keeping SICP published standards, scope of practice and other official statements up-to-date and easily accessible
Journal committee: Tasked with compiling and managing the written material which is to be submitted to the SICP Newsletter and Cath Lab Digest.
Convention & Conferences Committee: This committee will manage the organization of the Annual National Meeting as well as coordinate SICP's presence at regional meetings, both chapters sponsored or third party-sponsored. This committee will work closely with the SICP staff in the site selection process, as well as the Education Committee for program content. Nominations Committee: This committee will coordinate the proper election of all Board Representatives as provided by in the SICP By-laws. This committee will also be in charge of reviewing current By-laws and Policies/Procedures so that when or if changes are required, the proper procedures are followed. If interested in participating on this committee, please contact membership@ sicp.com.
Membership Committee: This committee will be asked to implement a membership growth campaign and recruit new members. They will be asked to attend local meetings to represent SICP. They will review and approve or disapprove applications for Fellowship Status in the SICP and present this decision to the board for final approval. This committee will also be asked to make recommendations to the board concerning membership benefits. If interested in participating on this committee please contact membership@sicp.com.
Ad-hoc Committees:
Chapter Development Committee: This committee will be formed on a temporary basis (1 to 2 years) in charge of the recruitment and formation of Chapters of SICP. A standing committee could be formed which would be composed of representatives of all SICP chapters. If interested in participating on this committee, please contact membership@sicp.com.
Registry Information
Get Credentialed! Are you a professional working in the area of Invasive Cardiac Catheterization? Yes! Then you need to be registered with CCI as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

SICP Membership News
Join as a Lab!
SICP is proud to introduce Corporate/Group membership rates. A corporate membership is a great chance for Cath Lab Mangers to get their staff involved with SICP.
The group rate will be granted to four employees for $170, this is a discount of 15% off the individual rate. In keeping with our membership growth campaign, the four members can renew at the rate of $170 for the second year before it increases the third year to $230.

Membership Renewals
Dues invoices were mailed and emailed to members in January. Please return your renewal information and payment as soon as possible. You may renew online at www.sicp.com. If you have difficulty accessing your renewal information online, please contact Nicole Shore, membership@sicp.com.
Membership Growth Campaign
Our growth campaign will continue through 2005. Please encourage all your colleagues to become members of SICP. New members may join for only $50.00 as well as the opportunity to renew at the new member rate for their second year of membership.
