Cath Lab and Beyond

Cath Lab and Beyond recently celebrated another successful course in Sacramento, California. Over 40 cath lab nurses and technologists, many pictured here, came for the 4.5-day educational program, tailored to staff new to the cath lab setting. This program, now in existence for more than 25 years, is sponsored by the Sacramento area Continuing Education Consortium. Taught by experienced cath lab nurses and techs, the days are filled with dissection, physiology review, waveform recognition, and discussion of diagnostic and treatment strategies, including coronary, peripheral, and structural heart disease. This program is approved for 35 CEUs for RNs and radiological technologists.
