Numinus Ramps Up Expansion With Clinic Licensing Program
Numinus Wellness, the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based mental healthcare company that specializes in advancing treatments and psychedelic-assisted therapies, has announced the launch of a clinic licensing model that will allow independent practitioners to own and operate clinics under the Numinus Wellness brand.
The licensing and services arrangement is being offered as the company seeks to expand treatment access to new regions of North America with reduced capital investment.
“The Numinus Network will allow us to work with practitioners who believe in the Numinus brand and protocols, but prefer greater independence in leading their team and practice,” Payton Nyquvest, Numinus founder and CEO, said in a news release. “Through our Numinus Network partnership, we can work together to advocate for and support people in more communities who are suffering and would like to try a new approach to treatment.”
Practitioners who partner with Numinus through the network will be provided with a training curriculum, Numinus treatment protocols, and ongoing operational and marketing support, as well as access to the company’s network of healthcare professionals. Numinus said it will facilitate a turn-key solution for licensees through a partnership with Healing Commercial Real Estate Inc. (Healing CREI), a healthcare-focused real estate investment company. Licensees will have the option of leasing a fully functioning Numinus Wellness clinic location directly from Healing CREI.
“Leveraging market data, we can help build clinic infrastructure using a targeted planning process to determine key regions where the psychedelic, behavioral health, and wellness industry is currently lacking or underserved,” Healing CREI Founder and President Cody Shandraw said in the release.
Investment costs and licensing fees will vary based on licensing arrangement, location, regional exclusivity, and other factors. Numinus said it is in active talks with “several prospective clinic owners.”
