Delic Builds Psychedelics Portfolio with Deal for Ketamine Wellness Centers

Delic, a publicly traded psychedelic wellness company, announced on Monday morning that has reached an agreement to acquire Ketamine Wellness Centers (KWC). In combining Delic’s existing 2 clinics in California and Arizona with KWC’s 10 ketamine infusion treatment clinics in 8 states, the deal creates one of the largest psychedelics organizations in the United States.

Delic also plans to open an additional 15 clinics across the nation over the next 18 months.

“KWC is the leading and largest network of trusted health clinics operating in our space, and we have architected Delic to scale their efforts and contribute to their position through our existing portfolio of clinics and media properties which can drive patient count and demand,” Delic co-founder and CEO Matt Stang said in a news release.

“Adding KWC will ensure our existing patients and many more in the future will receive the best medical treatment and care. We are thrilled to partner with KWC and bring accessibility and psychedelic wellness to millions today through ketamine infusions and in the near future through all FDA-approved treatment options, which we expect to include MDMA and psilocybin.”

Under the Delic umbrella, KWC will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under the continued leadership of its CEO, Kevin Nicholson.

In addition to operating ketamine treatment facilities, Delic owns and operates businesses to support and scale the reach of its services, including media platforms and events that market directly to patients and consumers, as well as a licensed lab to develop intellectual property and conduct research.

“We knew this partnership was in the best interest of our community and the larger American populace who can benefit greatly from affordable access to effective treatment for a large number of conditions,” Nicholson said in the release. “Combining Delic's media platforms to drive patient count with our existing footprint will set the standard for psychedelic wellness and mean the world to millions who suffer from debilitating conditions.”
