Business Briefs: Wellington Counseling Group, ARC Health, Talkiatry, Oceans Healthcare

Wellington Counseling Group Acquired by ARC Health

ARC Health announced on Monday that it has acquired Wellington Counseling Group, a multi-specialty psychotherapy provider group that operates 2 locations in the greater Chicago area, with a third opening in June.

Founded by David Rakofsky, PsyD, Wellington Counseling Group provides a range of mental health services and psychological assessments, serving clients of all ages. Dr Rakofsky said in a news release that the decision to partner with ARC “came down to their ability to bring scale to a profession and industry with increasingly tighter margins, year after year,” as well as ARC’s ability to maintain high levels of care by recruiting partner groups selectively.

In her new role, Dr Holt will guide Talkiatry’s outpatient psychiatric practice model.
