Summit BHC Expands in North Carolina

Summit BHC, a national provider of integrated behavioral health and addiction treatment services, has opened Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health, a 116-bed inpatient treatment facility in the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, area.

Raleigh Oaks is a psychiatric hospital that will include specialized units that allow clinicians to focus on specific patient needs.

Founded in 2013 and headquarted in Franklin, Tennessee, Summit BHC owns and operates 32 facilities across the US, offering psychiatric services and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.

Landmark Recovery Adds Praxis Facility to serve Medicaid Population

One week after announcing the launch of a treatment program for veterans, Landmark Recovery, a family-owned drug and alcohol addiction treatment provider, has opened its largest treatment facility that will accept Medicaid. The facility, located in Mishawaka, Indiana, will operate under the company’s Praxis brand.

Praxis of South Bend has a 160-bed capacity and will add 120 full- and part-time jobs. The facility will offer medical detoxification services, residential treatment, and outpatient offerings for those with SUDs. Praxis will also treat co-occurring mental health issues.

Lightfully Behavioral Health to Open Adolescent Program in California

Lightfully Behavioral Health, a recently launched mental healthcare startup, has announced that it will open its first residential treatment center in Encinitas, California, later this month. The new program is Lightfully’s third in San Diego and eighth in California.

The facility will specialize in treating adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 with primary mental health disorders, including mood, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders, along with suicidality and self-harm behaviors. It will operate with a 6-patient capacity and a staff of 15 to 18 employees.

Futures Recovery Healthcare Partners with City of West Palm Beach, Florida

Futures Recovery Healthcare in Jupiter, Florida, has announced a partnership with West Palm Beach to provide city employees and their family members with behavioral healthcare services. The partnership will include behavioral health education, training, integrated treatment, and specialized care for first responders.

Futures Recovery Healthcare offers a specialized program for first responders, active military, and veterans known as the Hero’s Ascent Program. The program also includes an advisory board of service members who consult with clients and staff, specially trained personnel, trauma therapies, and treatment provided in private settings.
