Providence Treatment Appoints Managing Director
Providence Treatment, a provider of addiction treatment services in Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Honolulu, Hawaii, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Herrmann as the organization’s new managing director. Herrmann will lead business development, strategic management, and innovation.
Herrmann has 25 years of leadership experience, having previously served in multiple executive-level roles.
Bradford Health Services Acquires Vertava Health Program
Bradford Health Services, a Birmingham, Alabama-based operator of addiction treatment and recovery centers, announced on Monday that it has acquired Vertava Health of Southaven, Mississippi, expanding Bradford’s presence in the Southeast.
Vertava Health of Mississippi provides addiction treatment and mental health services, serving North Mississippi and the Memphis, Tennessee, area. The program joins a multi-state Bradford Health Services network that includes 40 facilities.
Newport Healthcare Opens Adolescent Program in Minnesota
Newport Healthcare, operator of a national network of mental health treatment programs, has announced the opening of its newest Center for Families program in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The program will serve adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18.
The new facility is the third Center for Families location, joining programs in Malvern and West Chester, Pennsylvania. The integrated outpatient program offers treatment for adolescents with anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as co-occurring conditions such as substance use and eating disorders.
Eating Disorder Treatment Program Opens in Pennsylvania
A new eating disorder treatment facility has opened in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. Blue Ridge Eating Disorder Care Center will provide a residential program for young women between the ages of 12 and 17.
Programming includes group, individual, and family therapy, as well as nutrition groups, individual nutritional counseling, trauma-informed yoga, and trauma-specific group therapy. The facility also offers on-site access to medical staff and therapeutic monitoring services.
USR Holdings Opens Mental Health Center in Florida
Onyx Behavioral Health, a private mental health treatment facility in Florida’s Treasure Coast area, is now open and accepting patients. Onyx is the newest facility in the portfolio of USR Holdings, a behavioral health holding company that has specialized in substance use disorder treatment for nearly 10 years. Onyx is the holding company’s first mental health-focused facility.
Onyx Behavioral Health offers counseling services, group therapy, psychiatric care, holistic healing, medication management, and wellness support.
