Managed Health Services Partners with Mindoula
Managed Health Services (MHS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Centene Corporation, has partnered with behavioral health management company Mindoula to offer MHS members support for trauma, suicide risk, and other mental health challenges.
Mindoula offers 24/7 support, tech-enabled management, and measurement-based care services. MHS members will be eligible for the following Mindoula programs:
- Interpersonal Violence Reduction
- Suicide Prevention
- StrongWell Substance Exposed Pregnancy
- Population Health Management
For more than 25 years, MHS has served the state of Indiana through the Hoosier Healthwise and Hoosier Care Connect Medicaid programs, as well as the Health Indiana Medicaid alternative program. MHS also offers Ambetter from MHS in the Indiana Health Insurance Marketplace and Wellcare by Allwell, a Medicare Advantage plan.
Monte Nido Adds Day Treatment Program in Houston
Monte Nido & Affiliates has announced the opening of its latest facility, Monte Nido Houston Eating Disorder Day Treatment in Texas. The program, which will provide eating disorder treatment for adolescents and adults of all genders, joins a pair of Monte Nido & Affiliates residential programs in the Houston area—Monte Nido Houston, which serves adults, and Clementine Houston, a program for adolescents.
The new day treatment program will allow patients to transition from 24/7 care to outpatient therapy. Programming includes a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP), with group and individual therapy. The facility will treat patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other eating disorders. The program also will incorporate cognitive processing therapy to address post-traumatic stress disorder, a common condition among eating disorder patients.
ARC Health Adds Large Mental Healthcare Practice in Central Florida
ARC Health, the Beachwood, Ohio-based operator of mental healthcare practices, announced its latest acquisition on Tuesday: Advanced Psychiatric Group (APG Health), a provider of comprehensive behavioral healthcare services in Central Florida.
Established in 1992, APG Health is the largest outpatient behavioral healthcare clinic in Central Florida, serving more than 20,000 patients, according to an ARC Health news release. Its services include psychiatric care for all age groups, mental health counseling, on-site attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) testing, and opportunities to participate in clinical trials and research studies.
The transaction was facilitated by Bayshore Growth Partners, a healthcare-focused M&A advisory firm based in Tampa, Florida.
