Kipu Health Partners With Eleos Health to Bolster EMR
Kipu Health, a technology partner for mental health and addiction treatment service providers, and behavioral health artificial intelligence (AI) firm Eleos Health announced a partnership on Tuesday.
Per the agreement, Kipu behavioral health clients will be able to automate documentation and clinical analysis of patient sessions by enabling Eleos Health’s voice-based Natural Langauge Understanding technology, which will be embedded in the Kipu electronic medical record platform.
Kipu Health serves more than 80,000 users at over 1600 facilities.
ARC Health Acquires NYC Provider
ARC Health has added yet another behavioral healthcare provider to its continuously expanding portfolio. The Thurston Group-backed organization has acquired Manhattan Psychology Group (MPG), a behavioral health practice with multiple locations in the New York City metropolitan area.
MPG serves patient of all ages, specializing in multidisciplinary support for mental health, behavioral, and educational challenges. The practice provides wrap-around virtual and in-person support across all settings, including office, home, school, and community.
The transaction was facilitated by healthcare M&A advisory firm Mertz Taggart.
MentalHealth.com Appoints Clinical Care Team Leader
Health technology company MentalHealth.com has announced the appointment of Jesse Hanson, PhD, to lead its newly established Clinical Care Team.
In 2014, Dr Hanson co-founded Helix Healthcare Group in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he served as clinical director. Currently, he runs a psychotherapy practice at Hanson Healing and offers clinical guidance to several health platforms. He also serves as chief clinical officer for both Dimensions Health Centers and Holos Global private retreat centers and wellness communities.
The Haven Detox-New England Adds Facility
The Haven Detox-New England, a substance use disorder treatment provider and member of the Haven Health Management portfolio, has announced an expansion of its services with the launch of a new mental health treatment facility.
The new program, located in Worcester, Massachusetts, will offer primary mental health treatment for various conditions, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
New Story Acquires The Learning Spectrum
New Story, a provider of special education, therapeutic, and mental health services, has purchased The Learning Spectrum, an organization that offers educational, behavioral, and social services.
New Story supports school districts by providing care to children and young adults with special education needs in its private schools, as well as directly in public schools with Individual Education Plans. Through its new partnership, New Story will extend its special education and applied behavior analysis therapy offerings in Ohio.
