BayMark Health Services has acquired New Day Recovery, a residential and office-based opioid treatment provider in Louisiana.
The deal is part of BayMark’s strategy to increase its portfolio of residential programs. New Day operates facilities in West Monroe and Shreveport, Louisiana, which will join BayMark’s other residential treatment programs: Greenstone Centre for Recovery (Bala, Ontario, Canada), Liberty Bay Recovery Center (Portland, Maine), and Hope for Tomorrow (Point Pleasant, West Virginia).
With the acquisition of the New Day properties, BayMark now operates more than 20 addiction treatment facilities in Louisiana.
In addition to its residential treatment program, New Day offers intensive outpatient treatment. New Day addiction treatment incorporates the use of medications, as well as group and individual counseling, life skills development, relapse prevention strategies, and additional education.
New Day was represented by the Braff Group, a mergers and acquisition firm, in the deal.
