Ventura Recovery Center launches young adult program

Ventura Recovery Center, a residential facility in Thousand Oaks, Calif., recently launched a new young adult addiction treatment program.

The dual diagnosis treatment center offers a three-phrase recovery program combining graduated sober living with comprehensive addiction treatment services in a community-based model.

According to a company spokesperson, those admitted into inpatient detox will be monitored daily so a consulting physician and staff can conduct psychological evaluations to assess their progress. Goal-oriented psychotherapy is also provided in order to help patients focus on problem solving, according to a company statement.
