Zipple will become the second President and CEO of Seven Counties Services, following in the traditions of quality, excellence and compassion that have guided the organization’s efforts for the past 32 years under Dr. Howard F. Bracco’s leadership. Dr. Bracco is retiring from the position he has held since August 1, 1978, the date of Seven Counties’ inception.
Seven Counties Services is the Louisville region’s largest provider of mental health, developmental disabilities and addictions services, with over 32,000 individuals receiving help last year. The company’s 1,400 employees and 400 volunteers provide services at 20 service locations and 90 schools throughout the region.
Zipple currently serves as CEO for Thresholds, a Chicago-based organization providing an array of services to more than 6,000 individuals with mental illnesses. Dr. Zipple began his long career in the field as a live-in staff person in a home serving persons with developmental disabilities. "We are confident that Dr. Zipple’s contribution to that mission will be significant and long-lasting.”
“Seven Counties is an extraordinary organization with a stellar reputation.
