UHS Behavioral Health Division president to retire

Universal Health Services this week announced the retirement of Debra K. Osteen, president of its Behavioral Health Division, effective Jan. 31, 2019.
Osteen has been with UHS for 35 years and has served as Behavioral Health Division president since 1999. Under her direction, the division has grown from 23 behavioral health facilities to more than 300, providing inpatient care to more than 620,000 patients each year.
UHS announced its senior leadership within the division will report to chairman of the board and CEO Alan B. Miller and president Marc D. Miller as the company conducts a search for a successor. Osteen will serve as a consultant to UHS for two years after her tenure as division president concludes.
