Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation to open Seattle area outpatient facility
The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation has announced plans to build its 15th clinical site, an outpatient addiction treatment facility in the Seattle area. Slated to open in January 2019, Hazelden Betty Ford in Bellevue will be part of Overlake Medical Pavilion, which is next door to Overlake Medical Center, a 349-bed not-for-profit hospital.
The new Hazelden Betty Ford outpatient center, which will launch with eight employees, will provide a range of services for adults, along with screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment (SBIRT) for teens. Services include: daily group therapy sessions, opioid-specific support groups, individual counseling, family therapy, mental health services, and prescriptions for patients engaging in medication-assisted treatment.
