Footprints to Recovery continues expansion with Colorado outpatient facility
Footprints to Recovery, a Chicago-based operator of regional drug and alcohol treatment centers, recently expanded its network into a fifth state with the opening of an alcohol and drug outpatient treatment facility in Centennial, Colorado.
The Denver area location, which opened in August, is the third facility opened by Footprints to Recovery this year, along with a medical detox inpatient center in Mesa, Arizona, which opened in May, and an alcohol and drug outpatient treatment facility in Wayne, Pennsylvania, which launched in February. The Colorado location features adventure therapy, which approaches addiction treatment through experience and action within cooperative games, trust activities, problem solving initiatives, high adventure, outdoor pursuits and wilderness expeditions.
Footprints to Recovery facilities offer customized treatment planning, individual and group therapy, co-occurring and dual diagnosis care, and various supplementary services. The company’s treatment services are designed for adults and young adults, with facility designs and amenities geared toward younger adults. The company works with most major insurance companies, and each of its facilities can deliver treatment to more than 100 individuals at a given time.
