Delphi opens Maryland detox facility

Delphi Behavioral Health Group has announced the opening of Maryland House Detox, an inpatient detoxification center in Linthicum, Md. Delphi notes in a news release that the facility, located 10 miles south of Baltimore, is the first standalone inpatient detox center in the state.

The facility has 16 beds, two of which are designated for low-income patients, and will provide monitored detoxification services seven days a week, with an average length of stay ranging from five to seven days before a warm handoff to the next level of care.

Scott Dehorty, LCSW-C, a 20-year veteran of the field, will serve as executive director at Maryland House Detox, the 14^th facility in Delphi’s portfolio since the company launched in 2016.
