Community Access Names New CEO

Community Access, a not-for-profit that provides supportive housing, training and healing-focused services for people living with mental health concerns, announced that Cal Hedigan will become the organization’s next CEO, effective July 1. She will succeed retiring CEO Steve Coe. Hedigan has served with Community Access since 1999, most recently in the position of deputy CEO since 2011. Prior to joining Community Access, she worked in a variety of direct service and management roles at the Bowery Residents’ Committee in New York. As Hedigan moves into Community Access’ top executive role, the company has announced its intention to develop at least 1,000 additional housing units, with more than half currently under construction and/or planned.
