Advanced Recovery Systems acquires South Florida property out of bankruptcy

Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS) has purchased the real estate of The Treatment Center (of the Palm Beaches) out of bankruptcy and plans to open the facility near its South Florida corporate home base in 2019, ARS confirmed in an email to Behavioral Healthcare Executive.

Over the past five years, ARS has expanded from one location in Orlando, Fla., to eight locations, with facilities in Maryland, Ohio, Washington and Colorado, as well as additional properties in Florida. An integrated behavioral healthcare management company, ARS provides treatment services for addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health issues.

“Florida continues to be an area in which we see a significant need statewide for evidence-based treatment,” Allison Walsh, Advanced Recovery Systems vice president of business development, said in an email. We are proud of what we have been able to accomplish thus far and are looking forward to the opportunity to bring our successful treatment model to South Florida in 2019.”
