Acadia connects FBI academy to health services

Acadia Healthcare announced that it will offer behavioral health and addiction treatment services to the not-for-profit FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA). The law enforcement educational association has 44 chapters internationally.

Acadia is setting up a dedicated 24/7 hotline into which FBINAA members and affiliates can engage in confidential assessments of their needs, and placement into the right program or facility. Care options include inpatient, residential and outpatient services in 39 states.

“First responders deal with crises and tragedies we can barely imagine; full-spectrum behavioral health support is the least we can do to help them in their journeys. We are humbled to be able to embrace this responsibility,” said Joey Jacobs, chairman and CEO of Acadia Healthcare, in a statement.
