LWSI Partners with Georgia’s McIntosh Trail CSB

LWSI recently entered into an agreement with the McIntosh Trail Community Service Board of Griffin, Georgia. This places LWSI in Georgia for the first time.

The McIntosh Trail CSB has been providing mental health, addictive disease services, and/or developmental disability services to individuals in Butts, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Pike, Spalding and Upson counties since the late 1960s. After the organization began a search to replace legacy information systems, a select management committee overwhelmingly decided on the Essentia technology and the LWSI staff.

McIntosh Trail not only recognized the mere need to update the agency’s core clinical system, but also prioritized finding a complete solution to manage operational performance and financial sustainability to meet the challenges of serving a vulnerable population over the long term.

“Essentia’s broad and integrated functionality was quite a significant factor in our decision,” stated Executive Director, Pam McCollum, further saying, “The willingness of LWSI’s people to work with us, solve any problems that may arise, and ultimately co-own our success, definitely set them apart from the competition.”

Randy Ready, LWSI COO, added, “While it’s always pleasing to deliver Essentia in a new state like Georgia, for us, nothing beats the boost of enthusiasm we get from welcoming a new agency to the LWSI family. In a season of reflections on our blessings, we truly feel grateful we have the opportunity every day to impact the professionals committed to serving those most in need.”
