Two Ohio centers combine services

OhioGuidestone and A Renewed Mind, two not-for-profit behavioral health organizations in Northern Ohio, have combined services, with A Renewed Mind operating independently as a wholly owned subsidiary of OhioGuidestone.

According to the announcement, the agreement will enable OhioGuidestone to expand into Western counties in the state and enhance its response to the opioid crisis by including residential care and recovery housing for substance use disorder (SUD). Additional programming includes work and employment, juvenile justice services, early childhood and parenting programs, and alcohol and drug prevention programs.

Officials of A Renewed Mind say the agreement will also provide the organization with a stronger back office infrastructure for technology and human resource functions.

A faith-based organization, OhioGuidestone has been providing services for more than 150 years, with 30 programs operating in 22 counties.
