Seaside expands in N.C. with Turning Point deal

Seaside Healthcare has acquired Turning Point Family Services, adding another four locations to its operations in North Carolina.

Turning Point provides community-based mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. Offerings include residential, outpatient and intensive in-home service; medication management; and individual and family counseling. Specialized programs address trauma and dual diagnosis. Clinicians include a physician, psychiatrist, licensed therapists and social workers. It will retain its brand moving forward.

In 2016, Seaside Healthcare acquired Pride of North Carolina, a move that allowed the organization to enter the North Carolina market, later expanding with the acquisition of Youth Haven Services in early 2017.

Established in 2009, Seaside offers psychiatric treatment, substance use disorder and dual diagnosis services in Louisiana, North Carolina and Georgia, with more than 40 locations. It was acquired by Pharos Capital Group in 2014.
