Odyssey adds eating disorder program to its portfolio

Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare has acquired Selah House, an eating disorder treatment center for women in Anderson, Ind. The deal brings the Odyssey portfolio to a total of more than 200 beds across five behavioral health facilities.

Selah House provides Christian-based treatment programming for eating disorders and co-morbid diagnoses, offering cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, experiential therapy, family therapy and individual therapy. Levels of care include inpatient, partial hospitalization and residential.

Founded in 2015, Odyssey is backed by Nautic Partners and operates eating, psychiatric and addiction disorder programs in Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Indiana and North Carolina.  Its platform investment included Pasadena Villa psychiatric treatment centers in Florida and Tennessee, and Lifeskills treatment center, which offers addiction services.
