Hazelden Betty Ford announces in-network status with Optum
The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation has arranged in-network access with Optum, the health management arm of the large insurance carrier UnitedHealth Group. According to the announcement, employer-sponsored and individual health insurance plans are included for coverage.
Hazelden will offer specialized programs as well as medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder at 14 treatment locations in California, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Oregon and New York. Residential and outpatient services are available with Optum coverage. Family programs and programs for attorneys, nurses, physicians and other professionals are also available.
“As the need for quality treatment continues to grow, this partnership furthers our goal of helping as many people as possible get the right level of support, structure and resources they need to achieve long-term success,” said Pablo McCabe, LCSW, director of national and strategic accounts for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, in a statement.
Optum covers 115 million lives overall and has a large network with more than 166,000 active behavioral health providers.
