Delphi Enters Partners with Howard County, Md., on Residential Treatment Center

Delphi Behavioral Health Group, which operates a national network of addiction and detox treatment programs, on Friday announced that it has entered into a unique partnership with Howard County, Maryland, to pilot a full residential treatment center for men and women at all income levels.

Howard County executive Calvin Ball has requested the county commit $3 million to support the project.

The agreement with Howard County comes nearly one year after Delphi opened Maryland House Detox, the state’s first standalone inpatient detox center. In a news release announcing the Howard County project, Delphi director of corporate business development said he hopes the partnership serves as a model for other states to engage in similar public-private collaborations to address the opioid epidemic.
