DCI announces new board members
Detroit — Detroit-based, Development Centers, Inc. (DCI), a nonprofit organization working with over 5,000 individuals and families each year, has elected three new members to its Board of Directors. DCI Executive Director Robert Shaw, Ph.D., announced the additions to the Board, which include: Douglas Jahner, Business Banking Officer, Charter One Bank; Kevin Outland, President/Creative Director, Pure Energy Advertising; and Trina White-Clark, Private Duty Caregiver and Home Health Care Provider.
Douglas Jahner has been in the banking business for many years and on the boards of the Keystone Academy Charter School and the Sumpter Twp Economic Development Corp. Jahner stated, "I believe that it is important to contribute personal time and energy to the local community."
Kevin Outland is in the creative design and marketing field and Pure Energy is an award winning, full-service ad agency for marketing and advertising services. Outland has experience launching new programs and media initiatives and he is looking forward to sharing his expertise with the DCI Board and staff team.
Trina White-Clark is an experienced activity assistant and private duty caregiver. She has worked in home health care for several years and is a resident in the community served by DCI. She will offer unique insight to the Board on its mission and services.
