Care Plus Foundation to host inaugural golf outing

On October 15, 2012, the Care Plus Foundation will host its first charity Golf Outing at White Beeches Golf & Country Club in Haworth, NJ. Proceeds from the event will benefit Care Plus NJ, Inc., a provider of mental healthcare in the Northern New Jersey area.

“This golf outing will provide the necessary funding to help the thousands of people in the northern New Jersey area affected by mental illness every year,” stated event co-chair Stephen Gavosto. “Golfers can enjoy one of the most beautiful courses in the area ─ White Beeches ─ while supporting the programs that Care Plus runs for its clients.”

“Care Plus works to build a brighter world for people struggling with their mental health. Our first golf outing is a great opportunity for the local community to get involved in eliminating the stigma of mental illness,” added co-chair Dominick Gargano.

Golfer registration fees include a buffet lunch, 18 holes of golf with golf cart, cocktail party, prizes, and dinner.  Prizes will be awarded for multiple skill contests, including opportunities from Tenafly Kia and Paul’s Volvo to win cars by hitting a hole-in-one.

Sponsors for the event include Columbia Bank, Inserra Supermarkets, HP, Roy W. Walters & Associates, the Fatigati Family, and Sasco Insurance Services.

There are still limited opportunities for both sponsors and golfers to get involved in the event. To learn more about the Care Plus Foundation Inaugural Golf Outing visit www.careplusfoundation.org/golf or call 201-986-5070.
