BlueSprig Acquires West Texas Autism Center

Less than three weeks after announcing it had acquired the assets of an autism therapy provider in Houston, Blue Sprig Pediatrics (which operates as BlueSprig) on Tuesday announced it has reached a deal for the assets of West Texas Autism Center, which operates clinics in Abilene and San Angelo, Texas. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

West Texas Autism Center provides clinic-based applied behavior analysis therapy services for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

BlueSprig president and CEO Keith Jones indicated more expansion could be on the way for the company. “As the need for ABA therapy services continues to grow, BlueSprig will continue to invest in both de novo and acquisition growth in underserved regions, such as West Texas, to meet these growing needs,” he said in a news release.
