Moving on from a loved one`s suicide
This morning, on the way to work, I heard a compelling story on a Cleveland radio station in which a local radio personality, David Barnett, shared the story of his brother Frank's suicide. His engaging story and discussion with local families affected by suicide--of spouses, children, even parents--is sensitive and well told.
There are a lot of resources out there to help those struggling with problems that could lead to suicide. One resource that I just learned about this morning is the Suicide Prevention Education Assocation, a Cleveland-based group that does outreach to young people in the area. congratulations on their work. Are there other resources from around the country that offer similar services?
