Spero Health Opens Its First Outpatient Clinic Virginia

Spero Health announced that it is expanding into Virginia with the opening of an outpatient addiction treatment clinic in Petersburg. The new facility joins the company’s existing network of more than 35 properties in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and Indiana.
Dr. Katherine Tyson will serve as medical director and lead physician for the Petersburg clinic, which will offer a combination of in-person and telehealth visit options and accept Virginia Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans.
The Petersburg clinic is slated to open July 14. Spero plans to open a second Virginia location, in Martinsville, at a later date, according to the company’s website.
