Sheppard Pratt Names New Vice President/COO

Sheppard Pratt Health System, a private, not-for-profit that provides mental health, substance use, developmental disability, special education and social services across the country, announced that it has named Gregory Gattman, FACHE, as its new vice president and chief operating officer for its hospitals.

Gattman will oversee program operations, clinical and administrative service delivery, and quality of patient care. He will also direct all hospital-based healthcare and related service operations and programs, research, and all clinical and administrative departments that are geared toward mental health treatment.

An industry veteran of 30 years, Gattman comes to Sheppard Pratt having previously served as president of Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia, South Carolina. His time at Palmetto also included stints as system vice president for clinical services and other executive roles in clinical operations.
