SaVida Opens Fifth Outpatient Facility in Virginia

SaVida Health, an addiction treatment company with operations in five states, has opened an outpatient treatment center in Abingdon, Virginia, its fifth location in the state. James Gardner, MD, is joining SaVida to lead the practice as its medical director.

SaVida services include medical care, counseling, case management, as well as medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction, while also identifying and addressing social and economic needs.

The Abingdon facility accepts Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance. In addition to its facilities in Virginia, SaVida operates outpatient treatment centers in Vermont, Massachusetts, Ohio and Delaware.
