RCA Announces Name Change for Maryland Facility

Recovery Centers of America announced that it has renamed the Maryland Center for Addiction Treatment. The 140-bed facility in Waldorf, Maryland, will now be known as Recovery Centers of America Capital Region.

The treatment center provides medication-assisted detox, residential care, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and general outpatient programs, as well as recovery support programs, treating patients from southern Maryland, northern Virginia, and Washington D.C.

RCA said in a news release that the facility’s name was being changed to make it more easily identifiable as part of the RCA network, which includes 11 drug and alcohol addiction treatment centers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

RCA Capital Region is led by chief executive officer Lisa Dehorty, who has 20 years of experience as a substance use disorder treatment professional.
