Provident Behavioral Health, Mary Ryder Home Announce Partnership

A pair of St. Louis area not-for-profits have announced an agreement to join forces in providing behavioral health services.

Mary Ryder Home, a which provides mental and physical health services for vulnerable senior women in St. Louis, is now part of Provident Behavioral Health. Provident serves more than 3,000 individuals in the greater St. Louis area through its counseling and afterschool programs.

Leadership teams and boards of the two organizations will be combined and all employees will be retained, according to a news release announcing the deal.

“St. Louis’s senior population is rapidly increasing, a change that has an impact on our entire community. Provident and Mary Ryder Home began exploring options for addressing this issue together over a year ago and are excited to move forward,” Kevin Drollinger, president and executive director of Provident, said in the release. “This new partnership creates a platform for expanded services beyond what we could have done independently. We’re enhancing our skills, adding to our core competencies, and addressing community needs.”
