Providence Acquires Main Line Recovery, Agrees to Deal with Insurer

Providence Treatment, an operator of three outpatient addiction treatment centers in the Greater Philadelphia area, announced last week that it has acquired Main Line Recovery, outpatient program in the Philadelphia suburb of Haverford, Pennsylvania. Main Line is now operating under the Providence name as of August 1.

Providence also announced that it has reached an agreement with Quest Behavioral Health, an insurer of behavioral health and addiction resources for staff at University of Pennsylvania Hospital and other healthcare groups in the region. The deal will expand service offerings for healthcare professionals at Penn Medicine.

Providence treats professionals, including physicians, dentists, pharmacists, attorneys and commercial pilots, with substance use disorders and associated mental health challenges.
