Numinus Wellness Announces Deal to Acquire Mindspace

Numinus Wellness, the Vancouver-based mental health and wellness company, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Montreal-based Mindspace Psychology Services in a deal aimed at expanding its psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy offerings.

Mindspace generated $1.7 million in revenue over the past 12 months and recently launched a ketamine-assisted therapy program. Its acquisition represents “a first and major step forward” in Numinus’ plans for global expansion, Numinus CEO Payton Nyquvest said in a news release announcing the deal.

The deal for Mindspace continues an ongoing period of activity for Numinus. The company, which operates three clinics in Vancouver and offers virtual services, recently announced plans to pursue trials for psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy to treat substance use disorders and MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD.
