Hope United to Build Relapse Prevention Center in Ohio

Hope United, an Akron, Ohio-based not-for-profit education, support and recovery services organization, announced that it will begin constructing a relapse prevention wellness center beginning in the spring of 2020.

Tyler’s Redemption Place will offer long-term recovery support through counseling, recovery groups and activities in a community setting for individuals who have completed traditional residential or outpatient treatment. Phase I of the project will offer certified counselors to evaluate and treat the root cause of addiction, peer recovery classes, and fitness programs.

Construction of the facility is scheduled to be completed by fall 2020, but in the meantime, Hope United has set up a nearby temporary location that will offer relapse prevention programming by the end of 2019.
