Delphi merges with Summit Behavioral Health
Delphi Behavioral Health Group has merged with Summit Behavioral Health in a deal that brings with it facilities in New Jersey, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania—three new markets for Delphi.
“The Summit acquisition expands the Delphi footprint to 14 sites over six states,” Delphi CEO Dominic Sirianni tells Behavioral Healthcare Executive in an email. “With that reach, we are able to touch thousands more people a year.”
Sirianni also says Summit leadership will integrate into the Delphi operations. The combined corporate company will use the Delphi name, but Summit’s detox, residential, and outpatient centers will retain their current Serenity at Summit branding.
The company is majority-owned by the Halifax Group, and officials say Delphi is looking to build out a national platform. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
