EHR Provider Qualifacts Acquired by Warburg Pincus
Warburg Pincus, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired electronic health record provider Qualifacts in a deal valued between $300 million and $350, according to a report from PE Hub Buyouts.
Based in Nashville, Qualifacts specializes in EHR software for behavioral health and human services. The Qualifacts acquisition is the second deal for a specialty EHR provider in as many months for Warburg Pincus, which bought a majority interest in WebPT, an EHR provider for outpatient physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, in August.
Warburg Pincus now has a total of four specialty EHR firms in its portfolio, but does not plan to pursue any combinations among them, sources tell PE Hub.
