Buena Vista Unveils Tucson Treatment Campus

Buena Vista Health Recovery this week is unveiling Buena Vista Health and Recovery Centers at Tucson, a 50,000-square-foot drug and alcohol detox and treatment campus. It will begin accepting outpatient patients next month.

Treatment services to be offered on the campus include: medically monitored detox, inpatient residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, medication-assisted treatment, primary care medicine and telemedicine. The facility has 70 private rooms, with treatment programs for men and women 18 and older.

The Tucson campus will employ about 100 staff members and be led by:

  • Paul R. Valbuena, MD, a double board-certified psychiatrist and addictionologist who will serve as medical director
  • Julie Nave, MA, LPC, as clinical director
  • Brian Beutin, regional vice president of Buena Vista Health and Recovery Centers properties in Arizona, a group that also includes treatment facilities in Cave Creek and Chandler

Buena Vista said in a news release that it plans to open a fourth location, Buena Vista Health and Recovery Centers at Loveland, in Colorado later this year.
