Ashley Addiction Treatment Unveils PHP to Lower Relapse Rates

Ashley Addiction Treatment announced that it is launching its first partial hospitalization program. The PHP will be offered at Ashley’s outpatient treatment facility in Elkton, Maryland, mixing outpatient and inpatient treatment services in an effort that the company hopes will reduce the chances of relapse among patients.

In a news release announcing the program, Ashley said it identified a need for treatment programming that offers a balance between the structure of inpatient care with the flexibility of an outpatient program. Patients enrolled in Ashley’s PHP will receive more than 20 hours of individualized treatment per week, which includes case management, group therapy and visits with a nurse practitioner.

“We launched this program on the idea that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery,” Alex Denstman, vice president of business development at Ashley, said in the news release. “Through this integrated program and future ones like it, our goal is to better equip our patients with the tools they need, no matter what hurdles they’re facing.”
