AppleGate Recovery Acquires OBOT Program Operator in Tennessee

AppleGate Recovery, part of BayMark Health Services, on Wednesday announced that it has acquired Redemption Recovery, which operates five office-based opioid treatment programs in Tennessee. With the acquisition, the AppleGate portfolio now includes 27 outpatient MAT programs in eight states.

Redemption programs provide patients with medication-assisted treatment and counseling in its offices and will continue to do so under the AppleGate banner. Redemption also offers case management services and collaborative treatment for patients who are pregnant.

Redemption founder and medical director Steven Weaver, MD, will stay on board as medical director for AppleGate as part of the deal.
